I'll be 'snapcasting' the delivery and "topless" maiden joyride into San Francisco of my '06 BMW 330i Convertible with real-time video, pics, and text. Tell me where to go! I'll follow!

you should start a collection for the boys to throw some money in and get a stripper for the ride!:yikes::rofl:
Hey CaptainTrap, you're not too far off! There's talk about having lunch at the local Hooters! I'll include that in the snapcast...LMAO!

Try the road up to mount Tamalpias (sp?) just north of San Fran. I drove that road in 1980 in a Toyota Supra (nothin like the most recent version, just a glorified celica if I recall correctly) it was awesome! I can ony dream how it would be in a BMW. If you go off the road though it is a looooong way down!

Congrats! I, too, just purchased a 330ci convertible after 6 years of savings and obsession. A few compromises along the way to make this happen--2001 model with a little wear, but still running quite ace so far. Love the whole bit about going 70 on the highway and you can still feel the acceleration when you drop down a gear and floor it. I needn't worry about short entrance ramps ever again. I'm jealous of the natural leather interior. Perhaps my next one will have that. Here on the East Coast, it's difficult to find this with a standard transmission. I bid on one last year in Boston, but was priced out by some lucky b-stard.

Anyway, best to you! Enjoy.

A vert in NYC? You are a brave man my friend! If you ever park on the street, just leave it open so they don't slice and dice your top. Good luck!
