X2, all white would look a lot nicer. The black bumper on the white body looks pretty bad.
Cheers
I forgot which magazine I saw it in but only the X1 with Xdrive is being sold in the US. Engine will be 28i (3.0L V6) standard. 20D (2.0L Diesel coming around 2012 model year) [Which is the model I'm waiting for. Hopefully my car last that long ]I definitely like it. It looks like a refreshed and slightly modernized X3. The dimensions are spot on too.
Can't wait to see what the drivetrain options are for the US market.
And of course the big question: Will either engine offer a manual transmission in the US? If not, I'm just not interested. But perhaps I'm not a large enough market segment to matterI forgot which magazine I saw it in but only the X1 with Xdrive is being sold in the US. That makes two of us. :thumbup:And of course the big question: Will either engine offer a manual transmission in the US? If not, I'm just not interested. But perhaps I'm not a large enough market segment to matter![]()
In Europe, the petrol and the 2,3d are only available with the automatic transmission, therefore it's unlikely that NA will receive the manual unless they offer the 2,0d version (it'd sooner snow in the Caribbean before that comes here). And of course the big question: Will either engine offer a manual transmission in the US? Yes, but we don't drive in the EU and they are going to mfg here :rofl:Tall noses and front ends are going to be more and more prominent on European vehicles to comply with their pedestrian crash safety standards. There needs to be sufficient space between the hood and the components underneath like the engine so that upon impact, injuries to the pedestrian are minimised.
The X1 is only and will only be manufactured in Leipzig, Germany. And for something as substantial as body design, it doesn't make much sense to design a completely different front end for a specific market. Plus, the X1 isn't really intended for success in the US market.Yes, but we don't drive in the EU and they are going to mfg here
I do love the wheels though.
Can we get those for the X3?
