I need your help guys. Im buying a single din navigation for my 2006 X3. Im planning to get the Pioneer n5. Do u have any idea if its a good navigation unit? navigation wise, sound wise? help me decide what nav unit to buy.. tell me if you have better navi in mind. Thanks!

I have the N1 upgraded to N4 firmware and I love it. It looks like the difference with the N5 is mostly cosmetic, the nav screens they show in pictures look just like mine. The only thing I really dislike about this unit is the DVD navigation. If you plan on listening to a music or MP3 CD, you have to search for destinations before putting in that disc. It'll save the route to memory, but don't stray from it or it'll just show you a zoomed-out display of your position until you get back to a portion of the original route that it has in memory. The points-of-interest functions are also not available without the nav disc in the player. This plus the blocking of A/C vents when the screen is extended is what most makes me want to go through the trouble of installing a double-din system like the Z3 or F90BT
