I just bought some after market carbon fiber tail lights for my 99' 323i convertible. They said they were for my car and the plug fits right in but the lights are all messed up. Is there a way to re- wire these lights? the new lights have 8 pins on the plug and my car has 6 pins on one side and 7 pins on the other side

Why "rice" up a perfectly good car? :dunno:

Even if you do get them wired up that are likely to throw an error code on your OBC.

Call the place where you purchased them to make sure they sent you the right ones.

Yeah but the amount "slightly less" would need to be measured with a micrometer.
