OK, not Bimmer related, but my Dad is DESPERATE to see through the windows of his SL. At the moment they are translucent. Obviously not particularly useful.

At any rate, is there anything that will help with this?

You might try Plexus. I picked some up at Home Depot (thanks for letting me know they had it there Scott!) and it worked wonders on my friend's car. It comes in a blue spray can.

Otherwise I have read good things about the two-step Meguiar's plastic polish... the bottles go for around $10 each and you shouldn't have a hard time finding them online.
