Tough choice. I was always thinking the 325cic, but I'm curious what everyone else thinks. (Yes, I know there's just about no info about the 2003 z3 yet)
The difference is...do you want a 2-seater or 4-seater? If I was single, I'd probably get the 2-seater...if I was planning on owning this longer than 4 years, well, alot can happen in 4 years, and the 4-seater "thinks about the future"...
I'd take the 325cic. There are probably some suspect design cues involved with the 2003 Z3, although I could be wrong...Plus give em a year to get the bugs worked out... .02
I've owned both. Trust me when I say take the 325. The Z3 had a cheaper build quality IMO and no places to put anything. My Boxster had a better storage story than the Z3, and it was way more solid (I got rid of the Z3 to get it). I was very disappointed after owning the Z3 for a while. I will say that it's engine had a much better power delivery than the Boxster, though. That was the only thing that I really liked.
Coming back to BMW for the 325ci I now have was awesome, though. Completely different. Everything is silky smooth - the engine, clutch, shifter, etc. I love my car!
