Porsche Cayman? M Coupe Formula works again...

Saw the Cayman in autoweek yesterday. Its ugly in the rear, and its made on the boxter chassis.

It looks pretty good, but the tail end looks funny.

But otherwise, its the M Coupe formula from stuttgart.

I wonder how it will do.

I thought it was pretty cool looking, but opinions are like armpits; everyone has them . . .

It seems to have a much more fastback style to it, I thought it looked swoopy and curvy. I liked it. Of course, they have it pegged between the Boxter S and the 911 in terms of price, so you're probably looking at $60K or so.

For that money, I'd go for the C6 Corvette Z06. (I'm only dreaming anyway, but that's the direction I'd dream in)
I like it. The idea of it at least. Paying for it, as with all Porsche products, will be another matter.

If we are uber-lucky, the Cayman will convince BMW to release a coupe version of the Four. But I don't think we're that lucky.

And as for funny lookin tail ends, um, I don't think any of us can comment!
I hope they dont make a new M coupe for a while. Keeps mine feeling extra special.

No plans in the near future. It looks like the M-Coupe will remain as a rare breed.

I was at the Frankfurt Motor Show in the year where they introduced the Z coupe. It was quite an attraction back then. I rarely see one on the road, let alone the M version.
