Hey folks,

I have recently purchased a 1986 325es here in San Diego. Unfortunately i got sandwitched between 2 SUVs on the freeway when they stopped to lookie-loo at someone getting a ticket.

So now I have a mashed in front end (not the bumper, but the hood and its assemblies) and a a back left end that is pretty bad.

The amazing thing is that the car keeps running. What a little trooper.

Here is the issue. I now get a constant beeping whenever I sit in the car. No matter what I do, attach my seat belt, whatever can stop it.

There has to be some sort of electrical connection that was broken and I am not sure how to find it.

Can anyone help?

David

Hard to say from the info you provide. There is a chime under the drivers side kick panel that could be doing it, or it could be your outdoor temp sensor telling you the temp is below 32'degrees. I know you're in Cali...the accident may have compromised the sensor
