Since I'm one of the members who's living a few thousands :) miles away from CA, I'd love to be there.

Maybe next time :)
Alex, if YOU make it, I have NO excuse not to! I would have gone, but I have to bury a relative in 3 weeks in Nebraska, too close to vacation time and money was tight...oh well, next year!~
 I tried, so hard, to postpone a service call to LA until this week, that it almost cost me my job. :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: (my boss actual sent someone else)

Now it looks like I will have to go to Glendale in May or early June for a different job, and I feel like I must drive over to Cutter's to at least look around, and intruduce myself (kind of like paying homage to mecca:dunno: :dunno: )

In retrospect, I probably could have gone, but it would have meant driving back at 3AM since I have to be somewhere Sunday morning.  :bawling:

The main reasons I wanted to go were a) the nice, long drive which I haven't had yet and b) that feeling of commraderie (sp?) amongst my Bimmer Bruddahs.
Then I realized, I don't really have any Bimmer Bruddahs (you come close, Rip but you ain't going. SYmpathies for your loss, funerals are just sooo much fun :thumbdwn:). I wouldn't know anyone there and, to some degree, I don't think people should be where they don't belong... and I don't, really.
Hey, I won't know anyone there, save Jon and Franco. That's why I'm going -- to finally meet some of these people (HACK, Vince, etc.) in person.

Come down, Eugie... I'll hang witcha!

Don't fret, pple! :)

This BimmerFest event will get better every year. As much as I am looking forward to it tomorrow, I wished I had more time to work on the paddle-shifting on E39, E53 or even E38. Sigh...:(

I do know a couple of pple who backed out cos thier supercharger didn't arrive in time (MarvelPhx), or their engine mod didn't finish as expected (Samir). Samir claims a camshaft mod on a 330Ci that outputs 280hp at the wheels. And this is prior to ECU software update!

Thanks muchly Plaz; much appreciated.

Yeah, that would be cool, especially as you're a fellow player and all but there's still that 8+ hour round trip. Even for me, that seems *really* stupid. 4, 4-1/2 hours down, hang for 8 hours, and then the 4, 4-1/2 hour drive back. And to do that, I'd have to get up at 4AM to make it by 10AM
Yeah, I can't blame you... don't beat yourself up over it though. It's going to be great fun, but when all is said and done, it really is just a car show.

Enjoy your weekend!

I'm whining, because...well, I'm on the other side of the continent. :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: But I've got one to catch tomorrow. Hehehe.
My 330Ci (ordered from Cutter) is sitting at status 151. I should have ordered two months earlier. :(

I hope everyone has a safe trip. It is far too often that there is a tragedy at events like these. There's nothing to prove... we all know what these cars are capable of. Have fun, but drive safely folks! :thumb:

The sight of the empty lot and all the recent flurry of posts from attendess, I'm now  :( :bawling: .

Hope every one has fun and took there cmeras along:) Remember your friends on the east coast and be ready to share your experience.

Any odds on Mr. Cutter opening a store in Phila. just so we can have the same experience as you lucky beach bums:dunno: ;) With all the success of this event, I'm surprised dealers in other geographical areas have not approached you all about getting in on the action:confused:

 Just couldn't justify the trip from WI. They just better post lots of pics so I can vicariously attend. :thumb:

Hey Rip . . . did you mean "you're"? ;)
DAMN BIO FIELDTRIP!!! I tried my hardest to get out of it but I would've failed the assignment. But I guess education comes first right?
