Just got my 2007 BMW 530XI Wagon back from the dealer, had the PCV valve heater replaced. Overall they did a good job, car is running much better now.
I recently got a code for O2 sensors malfunctioning, dealer told me it would be at least 200 for the sensors plus labour.

So I have a couple questions:
Could the damage caused from the PCV heater malfunction be related to the O2 sensors malfunctioning?
Also I noticed a melted wiring harness that was not replaced (see image).
Also there was a hole in my engine cover from the heat due to the malfunction that was not replaced (see image).

Should I bring it back to them?

The sorta melted wires...not sure...if it is only the other sheaf then I'd say it is ok. If it melted any of the conditioning insulation at all, I'd say replace.

Engine cover is fine with the holes.

Doubt it could have messed with O2 sensors, but that is worth tracing the wiring harnesses to see if there is any common elements.
