Hello everyone, I'm new to the site forgive me if I posted twice - A year ago I went and got 4 new lines crimped for my power steering in my 1990 325i 4 door coupe and dropped the front end of my car to replace the oil pan gasket ( found it in my oil pump filter btw) anyhow, recently I put it back together and must have done something wrong because my steering wheel violently has a mind of its own. When I turn steering wheel to the right or left it just plain goes crazy back and forth all on its own. :dunno:
I am looking for a plumbing diagram for the entire power steering assembly to make sure I routed the lines properly. I did bleed the rack and pinion from the two small steel lines just below the oil pan near the cross member but that did not solve the problem. Did I damage the rack and pinion??? Has anyone else ever run into this?
