Hey guys, I finally found the cause of the leak on my car: it was a bur on the housing, which prevented the gasket on the cap to seal properly. The fluid was probably leaking since day one, and there was fluid all over the darn engine.
Anyway, the cap has 2 indicators, and the manual doesn't say anything about checking power steering fluid. I need to know if the 2 indicators are LOW/HIGH, or COLD/HOT. The fluid is at the bottom line now, so I'm assuming it's the LOW point, since so much fluid leaked out. There's always a chance it's the COLD mark (it's ATF fluid after all, and it expands as it heats), and I would overfill it if filled to the second mark.
Your help is appreciated.

Nobody with a service manual?

Could somebody just check the fluid level in your car? I assume all BMWs have the same thingie on the cap.
Thanks guys!
