that would be nice.

i do not mind the high gearing of our 325 on the highway, but another gear would be nice.

BMW being so worried aboug CAFE, wouldn't this be an obvious way to pump up the numbers?

Hmmmm... I'm thinking, if the platform is similar enough, would BMW install the tranny with the Valvetronic in the E46 or wait for the next gen (E90 is it?)?
