I have replaced both brake wear sensors, but still have the brake indicator light on. New brakes both front and rear. Does this have to be reset by the dealer or have I done something wrong?? Thanks for any info.

Rumor has it that it will go off after so many re-starts, if your brake wear sensor was triggered and needed to be replaced.

Make sure you have the copper clip that holds down the sensor properly installed.

Thanks for the information.

At least the front sensor wore thru. After I replaced it and still had the light, I replaced the rear one too. I'll give it some time. Thanks again.

The "trick" is to turn the key to position II I believe and leave it there for a few seconds (maybe more, but less than a minute) until it turns off...
