What is the newer version?

What does it give over the older version?

Most important, is it needed for a 2016 M3?

is Esys 3.27.1 and the Prmium Launcher 2.6.2.Build 124 still fine to flash?

PM sent. E-Sys 3.27.1 is preferred. E-Sys Launcher should not be used for flashing at all. It shoud be used exclusively for FDL Coding and nothing more.

I thought you meant Speed Restriction for Video-In-Motion, which is why I asked about Head Unit.

For actual vehicle Speed Limiter in DME, no you cannot change it via coding. Only option is flashing DME with custom tuning firmware files.

Also is it possible to get the link for it?
Have E-SYS on my laptop but i messed up my psdz files and right now it wont even connect. Also i dont know the PIN as i got it from someone....

Programming has nothing to do with enabling DVD in Motion.

You should also be creating your own PIN. You can always get latest software here: Coding: (No Request) Latest Software Links

Almaretto thanks for quick reply, psdz works deleted my full data and using lite version now. But ran into another problem, bought laptop with E-SYS already installed and i dont know what PIN previous user set. Is there a way to reset the pin ?

You can delete token and generate new one with Launcher.
