Never heard of That version. Latest is P3.62.2 = I001-17-07-500.

PSdZ is not available for 17-07-502. You can still use E-sys 3.27.1.

 

Hi Almaretto, you are right. it is the number I001-17-07-500. The Service Guy missmached it. I have as latest Version esys 3.28.1. Do i need something else? Thanks for your help.

 

Latest version E-sys is 3.30.1, but it will not work for FDL-coding unless you have Launcher Pro. I still use E-sys 3.27.1; E-sys 3.28.1 occasionally has runtime errors when "right click CAFD > Edit." Though, if this occurs, you can directly load read CAF into FDL-Editor.

No you don't E-Sys / PSdZData is only for newer F / I / G Series cars. You cannot use with E-Series car. For E-Series you need NCS Expert and WinKFP along with latest SP-Daten files.

Just looking for a small amount of clarification here. I've coded my f56 no issues.
Can i use that same PsDZlite file to code an f10, f02, and f16? What is the process of clearing out f56 history and starting fresh on a different chassis?

Also, are we able to code in the latest Nav versions?

Use same PSdZData. There is no need to clear anything. What do you mean by "code in the latest Nav versions"? If you mean code NBT2 ID5.6, yes you can code it.

NCD's are automatically downloaded to C:\Data\CAF. So, if you do not first remove, existing ones will either be overwritten or be extras.

IF HU_NBT2 with ID4++, you cannot simply code ID6_Lite. If IDrive5, then you code HU_NBT2 HMI_ID_VERSION to ID6_lite. No additional files needed.

 

For example, after coding my F56 I opened esys again and tried to find F32 (14 435) and it was not available as a connection target.
I'm wondering if moving those files away from the CAF folder would fix this.
This is why I ask if I need different files to code different chassis codes.

 

F020 PSdZ covers F020/F021/F022/F023/F030/F031/F032/F033/F034/F035/F036/F080/F082/F083/F087

F056 will have BDC_Body. F32 will have Fem_Body. But, you may share other ECU's. Moving just minimizes the number of car files present when selecting NCD's to code.
