Hello,

I have version 57.3

Is there a newer version?

What is the newer version?

What does it give over the older version?

Most important, is it needed for a 2016 M3?

Ok and thank you for your availability, these discussions interest me because I bought a BMW (I am a retired computer engineer).
I was a little upset to know that the SLI was in my car but it didn't work, and, in effect, my local BMW dealer don't know how to install FSC code and how to add option code 8TH in VO.
Looking at the .ncd file format: it's the old SRECORD format (Motorola), used a long time ago to program computer EPROMs, there is just a few informations in it, not enought to the entire CAFD.

Hi,
A local shop tried to run diagnostics on my car and somehow messed up the REM. I have the trunk open warning, rear windows and rear heated seats don’t work. Rear inner tail lights don’t work. When I check using BimmerCode, it says the coding for REM is invalid.

From what I gather, I need to inject the cafd for the REM for it to work again. Can anyone give me some guidelines and what I’ll need? I’m not sure if I’ll be able to inject the cafd using the psdzdata lite or need the full one.

Thanks!

Need E-Sys and psdzdata lite:

Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read (ECU) => Left-Click on REM => Click on "Detect CAF for SWE" => Select the CAFD from latest I-Level shown (bottom one) => Select OK => Right-Click on REM (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE.
