Hello,

I have version 57.3

Is there a newer version?

What is the newer version?

What does it give over the older version?

Most important, is it needed for a 2016 M3?

could I ask for ista and PSdZData full, preferably in Polish
PSdZData is not language specific. There is only one version of it. PM sent.

You do NOT need ISTA/P for an F25.

Since ISTA 4 (4.01.1x), it is

ISTA+ (aka Rheingold) = Diagnosis E/F/I/G Series & Programming F/I/G Series (requires ISTA SDP Files).
ISTA/P = Programming E-Series

Shawn has been trying to help but perhaps I'm a lost cause. I am trying to use Esys 3.27 with Launcher premium to flash my VTG ecu. I have used newer versions without a launcher but i cant get all the programming options to populate. Using 3.40 and higher i can get to load fa, load svt target (soll), and load a calculated tal but only get DeInstall option. Was told 3.27 was more friendly for f025 but when i activate FA in 3.27 my I-steps become not available (greyed out) and i cant manually enter them. I have made sure my java is x32, environment variables set etc. It cant be this hard. I have latest pszdata. Im using the earlier versions because I have a 2011 X3 F025 and im caught in the transfer case oil reset cycle. I cant clear the reset code to calibrate the vtg. Anyone help?

Yes, but I need to reflash, as that is the only way to reset the Transfer case oil wear code which prevents calibrating the VTG that is supposed to clear the oil wear code. Apparently this was a design flaw in the 2011 X3 F025 ATC 450 transfer case. It is a death loop. I still have christmas tree lights on dash and no 4x4. and cant get rid of them.

Open TALFILTER-Editor, select your SVT and choose Force in the boxes under blFlash, swDeploy and cdDeploy in the line of your control unit id. Save it then and use with TAL calculation

No you are not, and I already explained old E-Sys cannot uses new psdzdata.

Edit SVT_ist, and for applicable ECU(s) to be flashed, change Main, Sub, and Patch versions to 000, e.g.:

id 00000792
mainVersion 000
subVersion 000
patchVersion 000

Then calculate SVT_soll, TAL, and then flash.

No. Why are you bent on using old outdated E-Sys 3.27.1 and then flashing it with old outdated firmware? I don't get it.

Old E39 has nothing to do with Thread Subject, which is PSdZData Full. Flash files for DSC should be in SP-Daten.

These errors are killing me. Is there anything different in BMW schema that would make my .ist .soll files kick out this error when loaded?

Yes. You often cannot load .xml file created in one E-Sys version intto a different E-Sys version.

This should not be difficult. Use E-Sys 3.40.2 and latest psdzdata full, Edit SVT_ist, and for LMVFR, change Main, Sub, and Patch versions to 000, then calculate SVT_soll, TAL, and then flash. That's it.
