M888, various errors when trying to re-code after dealer has flashed my F30. Reading here suggests my PSDZDATA needs to be updated.

If you were just updated and just need to code, save your time and help yourself out by downloading PSdZ_lite (2.5GB vs 80GB full) from STICKY.

 

Ah, gotcha - I had passed through that link and thought I may need something further. But I've got it figured now. Not intuitive when you only do this stuff once a year.

PM's sent. Use versions provided. They are know to work. Asking for "latest versions" makes no sense as sometimes latest has known issues or is not supported by Launcher PREMIUM (e.g. E-Sys 3.28.x, 3.29.x, 3.30.x, and E-Sys 3.31.x)

Hi Guys, needing some help setting up the psdzdata so it allows me to program/flash the ecu’s. I have downloaded the full and latest version of psdzdata but not sure as there all as a win rar file?

Use 7-Zip or WinRAR, open ONLY part1.rar, end select Extract, and all parts will be processed. Done.

 

Hi Shawn, thanks for your help. I have now extracted part 1 only of the full psdzdata which has now created a new folder called 'psdzdata'.
I take it I just leave all the other parts alone? The new extracted folder, do I just need that alone in my C drive or do I have to have that and the other parts aswell? is the new psdzdata folder enough for me to program/flash my ecu's?

When you opened and Extracted part1.rar, all .rar parts were processed. Your done with them.

Now just copy the extracted psdzdata folder to c:\data so you end up with c:\data\psdzdata.
