I started over with a fresh PC and new install this time I used 3.33.4 eSys and psdz file 4.40.32 thanks to you.

connect using the VIN option and tick the istep feature below, then read the FA and activate and save. but when I get to SVT it only shows f025-22-xxx for shipment istep. my current istep actually is f025-18-540, has never been updated shows this in eSys 3.40.2 and also in ISTA+. could not get 3.40.2 to gen a tol file.

can read and save svt_ist and when I try to calculate the new svt to save as _soll since the only istep is the new 22-510, or higher it shows no changes, its all blue as if its up to date.

so its a totally new error. can't understand why the istep version isn't showing correctly in this pgm and data set combo. yes I started fresh so there was no data to delete.

Ideas I cannot read VCM due to BDC and have to use the ECU read.

help if you can.
