Hey guys - keep it down but I am considering moving from a Porsche into an i8. I live in a city with easy access to charging stations etc... but want a good driving car for weekending up into the local twisties.

So those of you that own them, what's your take on them as a driving car? I've limbo'd into one so I get what this car is but never driven one. Understeer? Oversteer? Easy to live with? Pros? Cons?

I also understand that BMW is coming out with the gen-2.

Thanks in advance...

My take on the I8(having only spent a few days in one) was that it is a very fun car for young/middle aged adults without kids. Loading into the rear seats is difficult, and as small as they are almost pointless. And you were spot on with the limbo comment, entry can be challenging.

Drive wise it is very planted, definitely a blast on the winding roads.
