Question on tires of Sport vs. M-sport

Hi, Can someone enlight me on if there is a difference between 20" tires of X5 35I Sport vs same with M-sport? From what I was able to research I do not see a difference but I could be mistaken.

Same size but could be either Bridgestones or Dunlops. Not really sure how a particular brand makes it on to a particular car but I was at the factory on the tour last year and it seemed (at that time) that certain styles of 20" rim came with a certain brand of tire. The M and M package rims seemed to have Bridgestones and the others had Dunlops.
