I have just finished replacing the control arms and tie rods. I installed the passenger side strut with the help of a friend. and connected the control arm while not having the tie rod attached yet.

the strut seams spring loaded... meaning, the tie rode will have to be attached to keep it facing in the right direction.... otherwise it is pointing outward from the car, and offers resistance when i push it in to connect the tie rod.

the driver side strut has not been installed yet. because i feel like i might have done something wrong on the passenger side.

(i removed the struts from the car on some bogus plan, which i never followed through on, so they are going back on)

theres only one way you can put them one. you can normally get everything on when the suspension is unloaded. but you might have to put the wheels on and lower it to seat the bushings.
