Hello to all...
Some middle frequency metallic noises are heard from the back especially when the car passes through rough roads.Initialy I thought it had to be with the runflats.Then I replaced runflats with normal ones and the noises were still there.I visited Recently workshop and the diagnosis was that the rear steering system has lost a bit of its stiffness.I mean that both steering branches (I don't know the English word) are moving at least 1mm and producing metallic noise during forced touch.
Has anyone noticed something like this?It it a known problem?

Problem solved on warranty thanks to "BMW Hellas" (Greek BMW importer/dealer and Service).
The rear steering unit was replaced and the car become quiet and extremely stable on road even at high speed.For example before the repair,if I was driving with >160km/h (>100mph),steering correction needed to be done (something like strong side wind affection) because of the big rear system tollerences.Now the car can be driven with 200km/h and the feeling is that you drive with 150km/h...
