Upon a bit of research i have found 4 recalls on my 1994 525i that I am sure were not corrected by the previous owners. Does anyone know the time line for getting these recalls taken care of? Can I still have them fixed by a dealership at no cost to me? Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would guess there is a time window of liability 5-10 years? Unless it a safty issue. What did you find recalled about your year?

Depends on the dealer, the extent of the repairs, and as LD noted, whether or not they're a safety issue. Will they replace a faulty ~$10 blinker bulb socket if it was recalled 5 years ago? Most likely. Will they replace an engine block that's been recalled 10 years ago? No, not in my experience (I asked if my nikasil could be replaced with the alusil, just for kicks :D ).
Doesn't hurt to ask, maybe even a few dealers in your area.
