The reason I am asking is because I am not 100% sure I can make it. So if I register do I have to pay. If so do I have to register?

No, you don't pay until you drive up to the
show wheather you register online or not.
Although we do hope you can make it,
we understand that everyone has better
things to do than attend the worlds largest gathering
of BMW's See you there!

The online registration is more like an RSVP to a party. You're saying you can most likely make it, but if you don't we understand. There is no pre-payment, you pay at the gate.
