I installed a set on my 2005 325. They are on snug. I sprayed pbblaster(WD40 on roids) for lube and i gently tapped them on w/ a rubber mallet.
For you, I'd do the reverse. Soak the hell out of them w/ WD40 or whatever and tap them out with a mallet and piece of metal that won't damage them.
