Replacement HU_NBT coding/navigation activation

Hello there,

I recently acquired a replacement NBT head unit from eBay (the old one suffered water damage) for my 2014 F06, the donor car was an F33 and both are NBT systems. The navigation doesn't work (the option is completely greyed out) and neither does the voice commands, nor any online services. There are no BMW specialists nearby who are willing or able to activate my navigation, voice commands, etc.

As I'm a novice at vo coding using e-sys, and I can't pay somebody else to do it, could someone please guide me on how to fix this?

I think I need to first virginize my donor HU using tool 32 (I found a guide for it here) but I don't know what to do after, or if it's even a necessary step. Obviously the donor HU has the donor car's VIN, so do I need to flash my F06's VIN onto the donor HU? If so how? What about FSC codes? How do I get them, how many do I need, and how do I use them?

Moreover, the donor unit says that oil level management is currently inactive. I never had any problems with my oil level sensor with the original HU. Could this be fixed by vo coding with my VIN?

I appreciate any help and advice I can get.

You need change head unit vin to your car vin with esys.

Read modules and click in "code".

And activate fsc codes for navigation, bmw apps, voice recognition.. i think shaw can help you with this.

I have done this months ago with my head unit.

Thanks for the advice. I guess using tool 32 isn't necessary then? What about PSdZData?
