I put my `00 520i on OBD2 scanner with resultant codes , p0505 and p0340, these relate to Idle control valve (idle control system malfuntion and Camshaft postion sensor (A-bank 1)) Im just wondering withoutout a service manual is it possible to fit these sensors myself? Ive ordered an ICV and looking for a CPS on ebay!

CPS, use only BMW item, aftermarket parts are known to be trouble maker!
Once the Oil Filter Cap is removed, the CPS is in plain sight.
