So, this is a little out of my comfort zone. I can rebuild the motor, and most anything mechanical, but I've never done a top or reupholstered seats. I would like to see what others who have done it think. Are all top companies about the same? Who has a good reputation? The same with seats. I haven't been able to find good informational material on this site or one the web for that matter.

I am definitely open to suggestions? Anyone who's done it I would like to hear what you think of it?

Thanks,

Lee

I have a reupholstering kit from zoomzoomzooming on eBay, but haven't installed it yet. Looks to be very good quality. I haven't ever replaced a cabrio top. Over my pay grade.

Also used zoomsoomzooming from eBay for my seats. Hog rings and pliers from Eastwood. Get yourself a good pair of snips for cutting the old hog rings. Patience, patience, patience. Good forearm workout. Convertible top, better left to the pros.

The zoomzoomzooming kit is really nice. I wish I could afford the guy that did the interior on my '85 325e, but couldn't justify $2500. The work was exceptional. All seats done, made a custom cover for the console, and installed Dynamat through the whole car
