I installed an M illuminated grille on my 2025 i5, which originally did not have the illuminated grille. The shop did everything to spec, including installing the whole new wire harness with all required connections.
The grille does not illuminate. Everything else works as designed.
Anyone done grille retrofit to a car that did not originally include an illuminated grille? And do you know if it is a coding matter or a hardware issue?
A local BMW shop can hook up a computer and check if adjusting the code would work, but before I spend $200, want to see if anyone has dealt with this situation.
