voice control and BMW apps activation

Dear all thank you for the very useful information given by you to the forum! I 'm been educated for a lot of time now.

I have a NBT retrofitted in my e93 hardware and coded by my self . If any one have any question and needs any technical information please be my guest.

I need a little help , I m looking for a NBT VIN with voice control and BMW apps so I could get FSC repaired codes. Does anyone know any?

Hi everyone,
It seems that this thread is quite old, but I decided to write here because I've got the same issue as 'andrei1302'. I tried to code Voice Control and add 620 option into VO but then appeard error "No FP could be generated from FA - C002".

My car is 2014 F30 with NBT and Professional Navi. Stock equipment with just one retrofit - DWA (S302) and added few codes to FA.

Here is my original FA:

My E-sys is 3.29 version with PsDzData 63.1

If car has factory fitted NBT, with 9E FSC Code, it should have Voice Control already, so I am lost as to what it is you are trying to do.

And I am pretty sure 620 is not even used for F30 with 609. I just checked a 2015 //M3 F80 with both 9E and 9F FSC Codes, and it does not use 620 in FA.

And what is with all the Telematics items you shoved into your FA? You cant just code these to work. And you wouldn't have 6AK and 6NR together, and 6NR requires a 9C FSC Code. :dunno:

I was wondering if there is a source where i can buy FSC codes to activate blueooth as i have upgarded from an F30 hu_entry with no bluetooth and usb to hu_entrynav with BT and USB.

Enhanced Bluetooth in ENTRYNAV just requires 6NS Coding, not any FSC Code. Voice Control requires an FSC Code. PM sent.

Hi, shawnsheridan thank you for your suggestion and information about the F80. Of course you're right I just forgot about most important issue - we can choose one of 14-16 languages, but some of them doesn't have support for voice control. In my case it was very 'exotic' language ;-) When I just got back to english voice control works like a charm. Thank you and sorry for the mistake.

I also removed almost all telematic items - 6AM,6AN,6AP,6AR and even 6AC, 6AE because I'm not going to use them. You were right!
I just left 616, 6AK, 6NS and wonder if, is it enough to activate BMW Online and Internet via my iPhone's hotspot?

Voice Recognition requires an FSC COde, and even then, I think Siri only works with NBT or newer Head Units.

In NBT / NBT2, FDL Coding CE_DEVICE_SPEECH_RECOGNITION = aktiv Enables Siri over long press of Voice button. - Requires >= ISTA/P 2.50.4.x I-Level.
