I spend most of last Saturday installing a Rogue SSK in the 04 545. I had previously had a UUC in the 540 and was anxious to get this job done. The actual job wasn't too bad once all the cover plates and heat insulation were out of the way. I chose not to drop the exhaust, so had to work around that. In retrospect, I probably would have done that too. The kit went in fine. I could actually see what I was doing most of the time. The hardest part was installing the front of the WSR. While I was in there I also removed the clutch delay valve. The difference is dramatic. The shift throws are very short and much of the notchiness of the original shifter are gone. Removing the CDV also gives a much more precise feel to the clutch.

All in all a good was to spend a spring Saturday afternoon!
