Is there a floating rotor for the 3.0? Does the M floating front rotor fit? Is there a price difference if they are available? Might BMW pay for the replacemant under the 3 year 36,000 mile waranty? Jon Shafer I will be seeing you as soon as I can get an appointment in the service bay.

AFAIK, no.

Don't think so.

Is there a price difference if they are available?

N/A

I can guarantee you if it were available BMW would not pay for it. They won't put them on the US bound M3s due to liability reasons why do you think they would put them on as a replacement?

I agree. I'm pretty sure the floating rotors are an M thing, and Europe only. They won't fit the 3.0 because the 3.0 and M have different hubs. As said they aren't brought in to the U.S. Floating rotors require good care and maintenance against corrosion as if the pins break you don't brake no more.
