I know many members have bought a M5 lip spoiler from either Delsa Motorsports or Xenon Specialist on Ebay and are pretty happy with it.

How many have a Roof Spoiler from Ebay that has is color matched like Delsa or Xenonspecialist?

I know there is someone who bought a Carbon Fiber looking one but anyone know of a place that sells a color matched one and happy with the quality?

If so, which seller?

Thanks BMW05

Tried to find carkingtuning on ebay. Couldn't find it.

Please post your opinion when received. I am sure others want to know this as well.

I have the ABS plastic one that I got from X3racing.com and i believe it was like $60 shipped and unpainted.

However, I'm having a little problem holding down the ends with the 3M tape. I mean its not too bad, just raised up a little but I want it perfect so I took it out for the second time yesterday and I'm about to put it back on this evening using 3M tape, but only on the ends cause I think whenever I use the 3m tape in the middle it give the ends a little height and the tapes don't touch.

Thanks for the info. If you want to tape down the middle you might consider using a thinner 3M VHB tape. Not sure if just the sides will hold. They come in many different mil thickness. See here:

3M VHB styles

You probably might need a 25 mil thickness or 45mil thickness in the middle. Perhaps 5925 or 5952.

Check out the 3m VHB Tapes PDF file (first brochure)

A guy on Ebay seller ID "sandandstick" sells the VHB in small quantities-15pieces of 6in worth for about $6-more than enough for the spoiler.

I like it but I'm concerned about it staying on. At high speeds too.

Just curious, is this held on by double sided tape?
I suppose that the area where the tape attaches must first be properly cleaned of wax/polish.

The 3m VHB is GOOD stuff. If forget which one but the VHB line is used to hold window panes in skyscrapers and some take like 2000 psi to remove. If you really are concerned about keeping it on, some have suggested using Gorilla glue. However, should you decide to go the Gorilla glue route, you can consider that thing permanent or you'll damage your paintjob in the course of removal. 3M VHB is good in that it can be removed by using dental floss to cut through the tape and once the spoiler is off, you can use a heat gun on a low setting or adhesive remover to remove the remaining tape and residue without damage to the paintjob.

Yes, 3M VHB double sided tape with the surface pre-cleaned using a little Dawn dishwashing liquid, rinsed well, then wiped with mineral spirits works VERY well.
