Are there any other BMWs, past or present, that have had the rubber trunk mats standard besides the E46? I dont recall the E38 or E36 having them, but i could be wrong. The E65 certainly does not have one.

I always keep the mat rubber side up in my car so i dont have to worry about leaving any sort of stains. I usually just throw wet umbrellas back there, or if somethings dirty i dont worry about it too much. Im glad this was standard, but i honestly dont think i would pay $50 (or whatever it would be) to buy one.

The optional one is a tad thicker material and has raised sides that will contain liquids should something spill. I carry a lot of stuff so I keep my regular mat rubber side up AND have the optional one, it was $43 from Circle BMW.
