My daughter has a 2006 325i, it stalled out on her, by the time I got to the car it started and ran for a short time. It died while driving. Wouldn't restart. Waited then it restarted and ran. Comes and goes. I have verified no vacuum leaks, replaced Mass air flow sensor, cleaned throttle body, replaced throttle body gasket, reverified for vacuum leaks. I drove it for about 10 minutes, at speed on highway, then stalled on me once back on surface streets. Waited then it restarted, at a loss here, thinking maybe something with fuel system? When it is running seems normal, no codes.

Pressure is 70 psi when at idle, at holds 69 when car is shut off.

You need to scan codes with a scanner that can read BMW codes.

ISTA is the best if you are reasonably handy with installing software on a PC.

This happened to me with drive train error code. Couldn’t get car into neutral. Ended up defective low pressure fuel pump into gas tank and under rear seat. Also replaced the control. Ovule.
