After an accident on June 1st. The body shop returned the car on August 2nd. There is rust all over calipers and brakes shoes as well as other parts of the exposed wheels.

Can anyone give advice on if this is a frequent a BMW problem and how to fix it? :dunno:

Rotors should clean off as you drive... and you could paint your calipers :bling: if they are ugly... although they should be covered in brake dust soon enough... ;)

For a car that has been previously wet and has been sitting around for a while, yes its normal.
:stupid: I find rust on my rotors overnight, after a rainstorm... :dunno:
