If anyone has ever seen the side-view mirrors on an Audi S4 and S8, they're chrome and very cool looking.

Is it possible to put these mirrors on my 2002 330xi?

Actually, I have no idea where you can get chrome mirrors. I've checked the site of a german company which sells chrome parts for various cars, but couldn't see any chrome mirrors.

the real question

the real question is whether or not they'd fit: I can certainly call up the Audi dealer and ask for a replacement part of the two mirrors, as though I had broken mine, and have them installed, it's just a matter of feasability.

I like em too. I doubt Audi ones will fit without a LOT of work, considering how much work is supposedly needed to fit E46 coupe mirrors to a sedan.

I've already looked in the ETK to see if such a thing exists, and alas no.

Yeah, they're not shiny. I guess what BMW would call mattchrome.

all very true, though it seems that the picture of the S8 from Audi has the same shining properties as the one Alex found.

how much and where can I look at that? (catalogue, online?)
