Sales that you have brought to BMW... POLL

1088 Views 5 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Adrian 330Ci'01
Last night I helped another friend get bitten by the BMW bug. He was considering a Volvo, then I dragged him out to try a 325i. He almost signed up on the spot!

I already have one friend who bought a 325i as a direct result of my experience with BMWs.

I was wondering what your experiences have been by means of this poll.

Cheers,

Adrian.

P.S. This is my first time trying a poll, so my apologies if I screw this up!

Directly? (at least that they will give me credit for) 2, I talk up bimmers to EVERYONE!
A couple of weeks ago while I was parked in the local dealers parking lot just outside the showroom, a complete stranger tried to order the same cabrio setup that I have (SG/Tanin) from her Client Advisor. She seemed about to cry when told that Tanin was no longer on the menu, but she managed to pull herself together and placed an order for SG/Gray, instead.

Shoulda gotten some free trinkets for clinching the deal for him:(

I am working mine for a 7 series test drive! He would have done it, but they were all in the garage being prepped.
Wow, after 22 replies there are over 33 referral sales!! Any wonder why BMW has been doing so well?
31 replies and 45+ cars...

My vote of two now drops to a one because my friend thinks he will go for the Volvo S60 T5 again. :thumbdwn:

Just goes to show... you can lead a horse to water....

For some reason he thinks the comparison should be made between the 330 and the T5 instead of the 325 where the 325 is more in the price range. Another silly person fooled by straight line 0-60 specs. vs. how a car really drives.

Oh well, you can only try SO hard to keep someone from making a mistake.

He will probably enjoy the T5 anyway, it is not a bad car.
