I have an earlier thread about the SES light on my 2011 128i convertible and have since done some research. First you will not read the SES codes on any OBD2 reader. I purchased a BMW specific C310 reader from Creator for about $50 from Amazon and it did read the SES codes and will reset them. You cannot take your BMW to Auto Zone or any other of the car part chains and have them read those codes. I have a .pdf document with the check engine light (CEL) codes which I found on the forum but have as yet not found the codes and meaning for the SES light. I had a 2B3D misfire with cutoff cylinder 9 and a 2E8D intelligent battery sensor signal transmitter which I reset with the Creator reader. Can anyone tell me where to find the SES codes/description and possible resolutions? Can you tell me possible resolution of the two codes above? Appreciate any feedback.
