Approximately 13,000 Texaco stations across the US are in the process of becoming Shell.

So how is Shell gasoline vs. Texaco gasoline? I wouldn't know. .:dunno: Not to many Shell's within the Southeast.

I've been using Shell, Texaco, Chevron, and Exxon in rotation for many years -- I've never noticed any difference between any of them.

Not many Shells in Tennessee? Wow! That's odd. I think they have more stations in the U.S. (before this buy-out) than any other retailer.

This has been slowly happening across the country for a long time. About 2 years or so here in California. Texaco and Shell gas cards are interchangeable, and the gas comes from the same place.

I just received a letter yesterday from Shell that new cards are being sent out within the next 60 days to replace current Texaco cards. Texaco cards will no longer be valid 60 days after the receipt of the new Shell card.
