Hey guys, I just bought an OEM m sport shift knob for my ‘14 335i & noticed it’s a bit off center. Would anybody please be able to tell me if this is normal or if it’s a defect in the shift knob.

There is a plastic retainer that is glued into the knob that presses into the notch in the shift lever. There is a chance it could be twisted a bit/glued off-center. Can you move it a bit clockwise?

Doesn’t seem like I can. If I were to try any tighter I feel like I’d break that retaining piece off lol. It’s definitely not just me though?

From the picture, it faces slightly more to the left by a couple degrees than mine. Not sure if it's the product or how it was installed. Perhaps contact the seller to see if there's another way to fine tune the angle?
