Is there a way to see the artist and song title on the Sirius radio that came with the car? The display just seems to show the name of the station. I never had a satellite radio that didn't do this.

At least on iDrive, there is a "details" option that shows the song and artist. Without going out to my car I can't tell you exactly how to do it, but I think you just click on the song and you see the detail option.

Yes. Push the 2nd button from the right to get the song then turn the knob on the right to get the artist.
