Its yesterday i was reverse parking the car and had to make a full circle turn. Right on full lock i heard noise as some plastic was crushing inside the cover that holds steering tilt and other levers etc.

Well, in particular BMW fashion, two warning lights on the dash came on. One was airbag failure and other was seat belt tensioners. I though, got car scanned today morning which shows all ECUs ok related to airbag and belt tensioners.

The new error reads as below:

Steering column switch
The communication between the steering wheel and steering column incorrectly Code: 0094EA

What is that exactly broken? What part/s needs to be replaced?

Help appreciated
