Does nobody know why songs go missing when using usb or how to stop it happening it's driving me mad, I've searched loads and can't find an answer. When I first plug in usb all the songs are there then when idrive decides to interfere songs disappear it's infuriating

My BMW only recognizes certain song formats; i.e. if, for instance, you have a song formatted under Apple lossless, it cannot read that and skips the song. Check the format of the songs that play OK and covert any others to that format and see if that solves the problem.
