I'm kinda new to Bimmerfest and have been reading the older posts and have seen some talking about spacers but not in any detail. Ive seen them on eBay also.
Why would I consider them?

to bring out the wheels so it gives a car the stance where wheels fit perfectly in wheel wells. makes wheels appear to be wider. H&R also claim they improve handling and make the car safer. don't buy any spacers except H&R.

I dont think you will need spacers with nice 3 piece aftermarket wheels since they already come with a nice offset
