okay so a few weeks back the all the fore speakers in the car would work intermittently and then they went out completely. Recently the same symptoms with one rear speaker, working intermittently and I haven't heard if for a while. I took out my head unit and switched the harness between the fore and aft speaker connections to see if maybe it was a bad connection and it still would only play the rear speakers. Could this be my stock amp?

I'm not positive, but I think if the amp was the problem it wouldn't be intermittent. Once a particular channel went out, it would just stay off. I'd be willing to bet it's got something to do with wiring. Most intermittent audio problems are wiring related.
