I have searched all over and can't find how to turn down the speed controlled volume on the non-nav cd head unit. I must say this feature is so stupid since it is such a quiet car. Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm. I actually like that feature. Saves me the trouble of turning it down when I'm at a light.
he wants to turn down the sensitivity of the volume control....

I have seen it done, but don't know the exact procedure :dunno:

Imola Ed... you're back! I was wondering where you disappeared off to.

Wild guess - you've been driving the heck out of your new M3? ;)

Damn. I really can't read, can I....

I know on a non-nav unit, you hold down the M key for a while and it goes into funtime mode. Using +/-, you can scroll to the GAL setting. Press one of the numbers (I think) and you'll set the sensitivity. Turn the radio off and back on. You're done.

Sonet, I've been working my a$$ off. I only wish I could have been driving :( But yes, I'm finally through it all for now, and can finally relax and visit the boards again! :D
