Last week my speedo finally kicked the bucket (odometer is also out). ABS/DSC light is also on. So it's time to dump some more money into the money pit:rofl:

I think my problem is the wheel speed sensor. Does anyone have a good write up on how to fix, with pictures? Is this a dyi, or should I have a professional handle the job? Does anyone have a part/s numbers so I can order? Also where should I purchase from?

speedometer gets signal from left rear sensor, but the signal goes to the ABS module ist, would need info on your car but more than likily if your car is 9/98 and up your control unit has gone bad, but if any of the wheel sensors go bad the whole system shuts down

ok lastcall like I said before your car being a 01 more than likely ABS module needs to be rebuilt but you cant rule out wheel sensors or fuses etc. If you feal like you can do some testing send me your email address and I could send you info on what to ck
